BTD
Term 1 Start
Normal term classes start again this Wednesday at Banyule Tigers Dojang, so get straight back into classes by making sure to turn up this week. Over the holiday break we have completed the transition from the program room where we usually train to the social hall and dance studio (both upstairs). So when you come in this week don't forget to find out where these rooms are, the staff at the front desk are happy to help you.
Classes will change between the 2 rooms depending on the day of the week:
Wednesday: Social Hall
Friday, Saturday & Sunday*: Dance Studio
Saturday Class Cancelled
This Saturday 30th January, the scheduled holiday class is cancelled, due to Alex not being available at the class time.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
January Holiday Training
Training is back at Banyule Tigers Dojang this Wednesday. There will be five training sessions offered each week for the last 3 weeks in January. These classes are a great warm-up for when the normal classes start in February and to make sure you're in shape after taekwondo's one month break. All classes will be run by Alex Jeffkins, 3rd Dan. The classes will have a strong focus on fitness and technique to give you the edge on people who haven't trained in the holidays. All ages and grades are welcome to train, and training will be appropriate for all levels.
Presentation Night
We are having a presentation night at Banyule Tigers Dojang for those who missed out on belts at the last grading or who weren't present to collect their awards on the awards night. This presentation will take place this Friday 18th of December in the Dojang, from 5:00-5:30.
Since this is a formal presentation it is required that you are wearing your dobok. Family and friends are welcome to come and watch and encouraged to take photos.
Some instructors will be there to formerly present your award or belt, and put on any tape if required.
12th Annual Banyule Tigers Dojang Awards
This Sunday 13th of December, Banyule Tigers Dojang is holding an awards ceremony at the Dojang. All students are requested to come in their full dobok (uniform) to the awards ceremony, with their families. The awards will be held in the program room and will commence at 11:30am. There are 20 awards to be presented on the day, with 16 student awards, as voted for by the instructors. These are:
